Now Available: Good Practices and Innovations in Public Governance
Good Practices and Innovations in Public Governance - United Nations Public Service Awards Winners, 2012-2013 is now available in the DPADM e-Library. This publication provides an overview of 145 successful innovations in governance and public administration from 50 countries that received the United Nations Public Service Awards, which is the most prestigious international recognition of excellence in public service. The purpose of this book is to disseminate, through descriptive case studies, information about innovative practices by looking at the problem that led to an innovation; the solution that was designed and implemented to respond to the specific challenge; the actors and steps involved in the innovation process, and lessons learned.

8th Internet Governance Forum Report Now Available
In October 2013 Internet governance experts, civil society, government and intergovernmental organizations' officials, members of the academic and technical communities, private sector representatives and citizens gathered in Bali, Indonesia, for the 8th meeting of the Internet Governance Forum. The Report of this meeting titled Building Bridges: Enhancing Multistakeholder Cooperation for Growth and Sustainable Development is now available in DPADM e-Library.

Now Available: UN-INTOSAI Joint Project
The United Nations and International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) launched the joint publication, Collection of Important Literature in Strengthening Capacities of Supreme Audit Institutions on the Fight against Corruption at INTOSAI’s 64th Governing Board meeting in October 2013. The publication aims to support capacity development of auditing institutions in their anti-corruption work by providing easy access to relevant articles from INTOSAI’s and United Nations on forensic auditing, advisory audits and provision of management advice and citizen engagement in auditing for anti-corruption. Contributions to the book were compiled by DESA/DPADM and the Board of Audit and Investigation (BAI) of Korea in its capacity as Chair of the INTOSAI Platform for Cooperation with United Nations.

New Release: Compendium of Innovative Practices of Citizen Engagement
This Compendium of Innovative Practices of Citizen Engagement by Supreme Audit Institutions for Public Accountability provides an overview of successful examples and innovations in the engagement of citizens by Supreme Audit Institutions(SAIs). It is indebted to the deliberations on Effective practices of cooperation between Supreme Audit Institutions and citizens to enhance public accountability of the 21st United Nations/International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (UN/INTOSAI) Symposium, held in 2011.

Outcomes of the Expert Group Meeting on e-Procurement
The outcomes of the Expert Group Meeting (EGM) "E-Procurement Towards Transparency and Efficiency in Public Service Delivery" held from 4 to 5 October 2011 at United Nations Headquarters, New York, are now available. The concept paper presents an option to the UN for moving towards the development of a Knowledge Guide on E-procurement to assist member states in better understanding the challenges and issues associated with the implementation of an e-procurement program within their individual jurisdictions.
