How to conduct successfully strategic and complex negotiations so as to promote the development of Africa in the 21st century:
The African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD) and its partners have decided to conduct a program on capacity building in strategic and complex negotiations. The program aims at training a critical mass of African officials in this area. The forum represents the first action of the program. It will bring together senior African officials and experts in the area of negotiation in order to examine, during four days, new approaches of creativity and leadership in negotiations, particularly at the international level.
The focus will mainly be on negotiations aiming at forging alliances, promoting Africa, attracting investment and tourism, seeking partnership, consolidating peace for economic and social development. Specifically, the forum will focus basically on diplomatic and political negotiations, economic (commercial) negotiations, negotiations with partners, negotiations for security and peace.
