Charities Aid Foundation Southern Africa (CAF Southern Africa) is an independent nonprofit organisation that promotes and facilitates effective giving, volunteering and social investment. CAF Southern Africa has been represented in South Africa since 1997, and in 2000 became a registered Section 21 not-for-profit and public benefit organisation.
CAF Southern Africa is hosting a breakfast seminar on the Causes and Consequences of Prevailing Social Inequality in South Africa on 14 November 2012 in Johannesburg.
Respected political commentator, Professor Adam Habib, will address the seminar and also suggest ways in which private philanthropy and corporate social responsibility can be re-strategised to help alleviate inequality and build social capital.
Time: 8h00 for 8h30 to 10h00
