The Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA) will be holding its 24th General Assembly and Conference on "Enhancing the Quality of Government: Government, Governability and Governance," in Tachikawa City, Tokyo Japan on 14-19 October 2013.
This year's host is the Local Autonomy College (LAC), a training institution under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Designated conference venues are LAC and Hotel Forest Inn Showakan. A technical visit and an excursion (one-day city tour) will be held on the 18th and 19th respectively.

3. Aging Society and Welfare and Population Management
A panel on the 4th Asian Leadership Forum for top and high-profile government officials will focus on "Leadership and the Quality of Government." There will also be "Stories to Share: Views from the Frontlines," a panel featuring practitioners' actual experiences as public administrators.
