Interregional Conference for Ministers/Heads of Public Service and Modernization of Public Sector from Africa, Latin America and Arab Countries

Theme: Developing Strategic Vision and Leadership for Public Sector Innovation and Modernization in Light with National Economic and Social Development Vision

The main objective of the conference is to expose leaders and managers of public sector/administration to current trends and developments in reforming, innovating and modernizing public administration and state institutions.

The specific objectives are as follows:

  • To share knowledge and practical experiences on the issues relating to the theme of the conference;
  • To up-grade the capacities astuteness of public sector managers and leaders in framing and implementing strategic visions for public sector reform, innovation and modernization;
  • To explore new approaches and mechanisms for public sector performance improvement;
  • To create opportunities for better implementation of socio-economic reforms and national development strategic visions and plans;
  • To enhance partnership, dialogue and networking amongst participating countries and institutions for mutual support and benefice.
