Employment Opportunity- Multiple National Consultants (four in four countries)
  DPADM is seeking national consultants, preferably, from each of the four target countries (Bangladesh, Nepal, Panama and Uruguay) to assist in preparation of national workshops/trainings, adaptation of training materials, and identification of workshop/training participants at national level.
The national consultant(s) will also liaise and collaborate with national and regional stakeholders, and will assist in conducting national OGD assessments, gap analyses, adaptation of training resources to local contexts, and drafting the OGD action plans in consultation with local stakeholders.

Employment Opportunity- International Consultant
  DPADM is seeking an international consultant to assist DPADM in preparation of workshops and training materials, in designing pre-training online assessment tool(s) based on DPADM’s Guidelines on Open Government Data for Citizen Engagement to assess capacity requirements of stakeholders in each of the target countries, i.e. Bangladesh, Nepal, Panama and Uruguay. Thus, a regional knowledge of Asia and Latin American regions is important. The consultants will be providing substantive inputs in organizing workshops and trainings, and in addressing the needs for international knowledge sharing event (INSE).

The European Commission Highlights the UN e-Government Survey 2014

The European Commission has published the UN e-Government Survey 2014 on its website as recommended reading. The Survey is available at the EC’s Digital Agenda for Europe portal.  This is the first time that the EC has made the UN e-Government Survey available. The Survey is produced every two years by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs. It is the only global report that assesses the e-government development status of the 193 UN Member States. It serves as a tool for decision-makers to identify their areas of strength and challenges in e-government and to guide e-government policies and strategies.
