The Botswana Institution of Administration and Commerce (BIAC) is a government training Institute under the policy guidance of the Directorate of Public Service Management. BIAC's mandate of training for the Public Service has evolved over the years from providing training in technical and commercial trades to training in management development skills. Although the Institute has maintained its focus on training serving public officers and also school leavers, most of whom join the public service on successful completion of their studies, BIAC also provides training to secondary school leavers, and officers from the private and the parastatal sectors of the economy. |
