Norway notified full implementation of the Directive 2004/17/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 March 2004 coordinating the procurement procedures of entities operating in the water, energy, transport and postal services sectors through the Public Procurement Act of 16 July 1999 No. 69, last amended by Act of 30 July 2006 No. 41 (authorising supplementary regulations) and through the Regulation No.403 of 7 April 2006 on procurement rules in the supply sectors (water- and energy supply, transport and postal services). The Directive 2004/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 March 2004 on the coordination of procedures for the award of public works contracts, public supply contracts and public service contracts is also fully implemented by the same Public Procurement Act, as well as with the Regulation No. 402 of 7 April 2006 on public procurement.
